Twist ending!

Monday, November 10th, 2008

Part 6 of The Darkness of The Light is up this morning, and this marks the end of that story. We finally have a complete narrative, and the big reveal. The surprise twist ending is a conceit that, despite his best efforts, is not the sole property of M. Night Shyamalan. I hope you enjoyed it. If you didn’t, I’m sorry, but at least I didn’t make you sit through two and a half hours of dull dialogue before revealing it.

Wednesday will start the next story, From the Shower, I Nearly Saved the World. Some of you may be familiar with the story. I wrote From the Shower, I Nearly Saved the World in 2002 and it is one of my few attempts at satire and humor. I’m excited to see the final product, as it features a Presidential administration with a historically low approval rating, monkeys, and themed boxer shorts.

A new story debuts

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

Today marks the debut of From The Shower, I Nearly Saved the World. This means two things. One, The Darkness of The Light has been completed, and an entire narrative is now available to read. Two, we’re into our second story, which means this thing has some legs.

I’m still pretty excited to see my stories transformed into, visual… stuff. It’s one thing to write a story, read it, and have a small number of my peers react without disgust. It’s another thing altogether to add on that extra layer of visual acknowledgment in a medium that carries some small nugget of respectability. That I’ve managed to convince two professional comic book artists to assist me in my endeavor remains a constant source of surprise to me.

Additionally, just to keep everyone up to date on my life, I’ve been playing the ever loving hell out of Fallout 3.
